REACHING THE RESORT
Coming in from downtown Kathmandu, proceed to Chabahil, the Hyatt, or Bouddhanath Stupa, all very well known landmarks, and from there, follow the directions below.
Flying in to Tribhuvan International Airport, Kathmandu, a taxi ride will cost between $7 and $10. Exit the Airport, turn right on the Ring Road. Follow the Ring Road taking a right at the first roundabout (3 min) till you reach the Chabahil roundabout (8 min). Turn right towards the Hyatt. Pass the Hyatt (10 min), then pass the gate to the Bouddhanath Stupa (12 min). Continue till you reach Jorpati (15 min). You are now 3.5 km from the resort.
Follow the road veering right and not turning left towards Gokarna village or Sundarijal. Pass the Bagmati River (16 min) and you will see the Forest begin on your left, surrounded by a high brick wall.
Keep on this road passing the Norling Resort on your left (18 min) and do not take any forks to the right. The entrance appears on your left one km further on (20 min). Enter and turn right going up the hill. At the top on the right is the car park for the Golf Course. Park there if you wish to go to the clubhouse. For accommodation, veer left where the tarmac road ends and follow the hard track with the large buildings on your left. You will round the building and see the hotel entrance appear on your left.
